Local time 03:45. Norway. Home.

Although I had stepped off the plane only a few hours earlier, and although I had driven through terrible rain, and although Norway was already as sad as the Norwegian autumn itself, I woke up with this thought: Being an actor means living dangerously in a safe environment, constantly searching to get to know yourself through different roles written by other people who have also tried to get to know themselves.

It sounds academic, and not necessarily in the good sense of the word. („living dangerously”- acting allows you to explore human transgression without becoming the one who commits it.)

These are just thoughts written in a hurry at three in the morning. They were not written with AI, so they are imperfect. : – ) So please don’t take them as verified truths. They are just spontaneous analogies on a Norwegian night in October.

The good thing is that if you have the courage to have the courage to search for yourself, you never get bored: Every role is new, and every time, you search as if you knew nothing about the profession. At the same time, you know very well the taste that unadorned truth leaves in your mouth, even when it is surrounded by the unreal illusion of a theatre set or a film set.

Having written all this, I’ll try to catch another hour of sleep, which I wish for all of you too!
